What did Brexit do to traders?
- Wiped out
- $2.08 trillion off world stocks in a day, a record then
- Who got hit
- Brokers raised margin from 1% to 5% before the vote, so traders could bet far less
- Panic
- Most of the pound’s fall came overnight, in thin trading
It sold overnight near $1.36, a little below −8%: a fall in thin trading fills under your price.
From the day’s records, not a backtest.

Questions Before You Test
The ones traders ask first, answered plainly.
Can I trade with real money?
Yes, from the desktop app, when you choose to. Every strategy starts on paper: simulated money against the live market. You decide when it goes live, and you can pause it at any time.
If my backtest looks great, will it make money?
Not necessarily. Backtests fit the past and often fail live. That is why every strategy runs on paper first, on simulated money against the live market. Backtesting in Vibe Trading is coming soon.
Most of my ideas break. Then what?
That is what the test is for: you find out on paper, not with money. Change a rule and run it again, or start from someone else’s idea.
Can the agent do something I did not ask for?
It writes every rule out in plain words and asks when something is vague. Nothing runs until you start it, and you can edit any rule.
What does the agent read?
Price and indicators, plus OptimAI’s social, on-chain and news data and the Vibe Score of each narrative.
Do I need to code?
No. Start from a community agent, describe your idea in words, or edit the rules directly.
Is this investment advice?
No. Vibe Trading is a tool for testing your own ideas. Nothing on this page recommends a trade.
Your Next Hunch Deserves a Test
Describe it, read the rules, try it on paper, and take it live only when you are ready
Start on paper. Real money can be lost, so go live only when you are ready. Backtests and paper runs are simulations, not promises, and nothing here is investment advice.
